About Me

Hi, I'm Claire Brett-Pitt, a Hatha yoga teacher of over 20 years. I discovered yoga at university, and have been teaching since 2001. I teach a wide range of mixed-ability classes, and specialise in yoga and fitness for people living with cancer, and I am also involved in various charities that promote wellness and fitness.

Cancer Specific
Yoga Sessions

Physical activity has many benefits for people living with cancer including increased mental well-being and can result in fewer post-operative complications. I run a variety for cancer specific exercise classes including a class at Macmillian at Southend University Hospital, Target Ovarian Cancer, Living Well with Cancer and 5kYourWay (Move Charity).

Mixed Ability
Yoga Sessions

These sessions are for anyone - all ages and abilities are welcome. They run on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, both face-to-face and on Zoom.

Living Well with Cancer

This is a free cancer exercise  programme focusing on balance, flexibility, strength and cardio, and is tailored to each person's needs.  We help you set goals so that you can benefit in both the groups sessions and at home too.
